The Barr Foundation associated with Euro International-Streifeneder
provided the components to manufacture prosthesis to the first 20 Below-Knee amputees carefully selected by the FARO Program in Medellin , Colombia during the Spring of 2005.

Orthopraxis, a local O&P organization donated the manufacturing and fitting of prosthesis.

The HUSVP conducted a comprehensive medical symposium in the hospital auditorium, on prosthetic rehabilitation and surgical techniques.
Over 200 attendees between Doctors, Nurses, Physico-Therapists, Prosthetists and media.
